INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — The French-inspired Cake Bake Shop, known for decadent cakes and sweet treats, is going to be featured in Oprah Winfrey's 'O' List. According to Cake Bake Shop, Oprah tried three kinds of cakes: Earls Court, Peppermint Candy Cane cake and Mint Chocolate Chip. She reportedly loved all three and plans to feature either the Earls Court or Peppermint Cake in her 2018 "Favorite Things List." That list usually comes out in November in time for the holidays. The Mint Chocolate Chip cake will be featured for Easter time. In a post on Facebook, the owner Gwendolyn Rogers said, “We are starting the 2018 year right! I am excited to announce we have been chosen by Oprah to be on her 'O' List! Issue hits stands February 27th. :)Thank you Oprah!” The Cake Bake shop is located in Broad Ripple but the owner plans to open a second location in Carmel.
