The Cake Bake Shop Coming to Disney’s Boardwalk-What Now Orlando

Indiana-Based Restaurant and Bakery Bringing Cakes Fit for a Princess to WDW Resort
The Cake Bake Shop recently announced they’ll introduce their enchanting desserts to Walt Disney World Resort. The Indiana-based bakery will open their first Florida location at Disney’s Boardwalk
Founder Gwendolyn Rogers opened The Cake Bake Shop in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2014. In 2018, The Cake Bake Shop opened a second location with a full restaurant in Carmel, Indiana, which is known to be booked up to 6 months in advance.
Now Rogers is looking to replicate her fairy tale success at Walt Disney World Resort. Their third location will bring a table service restaurant and bakery to Disney’s Boardwalk.
The Cake Bake Shop’s restaurant menu serves soups, salads, quiches, and French-inspired sandwiches served on a freshly-baked baguette. Their shops are known for serving Afternoon Tea, with traditional English bites, finger sandwiches, champagne, or for the kids you’ll find hot cocoa and bite-sized snacks.
Always save room for dessert because that’s what folks flock to Rogers’ locations for. The Cake Bake Shop serves it all: cheesecakes, cookies and fruit bars, ice cream sundaes, pies, French Macarons, and luxuriously crafted cakes in flavors like Raspberry Champagne, Pixie Fetti®, Neapolitan, and Gwendolyn’s Famous Earl’s Court Chocolate Cake.
The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s Boardwalk is expected to open sometime in 2023. Get to know The Cake Bake Shop by visiting their Website and follow their Instagram for updates.
