| Zoobilation this year is set for Friday, June 8, and honors the Zoo’s newest exhibit – a troop of highly social, swinging and splashing monkeys called long-tailed macaques. These primates are commonly found near water throughout the islands of Southeast Asia. Unlike other macaques, they are the only macaque who swims throughout their entire life. Long-tailed macaques often live near or around rivers, oceans shorelines and mangrove swamps. |
