The shockingly beautiful café that started in Broad Ripple and is known for towering layer cakes loved by celebrities opens in spring at Carmel City Center. This second Cake Bake location will be twice as big as the original, with outdoor dining and free parking.

"I am the most excited about having a large enough kitchen to make all the yummy things I want to make," owner Gwendolyn Rogers said. "I have been waiting to make beignets and pommes frites for three years now."
