Hummingbird Cake (Carmel location only)


The Hummingbird Cake originated in the Southern United States in the late 70s and became an instant classic. The Cake Bake Shop’s Hummingbird Cake stays true to traditional recipes. It is comprised of three layers of a banana spice cake with pecans and pineapple. It is filled and frosted with The Cake Bake Shop’s cream cheese frosting and topped with freshly toasted Georgia Pecans. As a favorite of The Cake Bake Shop’s owner, Gwendolyn Rogers, the Hummingbird cake is a sure winner.

All cakes are boxed in our beautiful pink cake box tied with our silver foil pink satin ribbon. Gift enclosure cards & candles are also available.

*Due to the small size of our kitchen not all cakes featured are available year round. We change out our cake flavors every three to four months, so each cake flavor will have their months of availability separated by seasons. The current season we are in will be the cakes available.
