Gwendolyn Rogers hasn’t just cornered the market on high-end cakes. She built a mini-Disneyland dedicated to upscale confections on the corner and then Instagrammed it to the whole world. After winning an international cake-baking competition in 2013, she opened The Cake Bake Shop in Broad Ripple and quickly carved out a niche for an almost utopian vision of rich indulgence gilded with leisurely bonhomie.
